From Sogamoso

There are a few options for those who arrive by bus to Sogamoso:
Taxi: there are plenty of taxis waiting outside the bus station. The ride will cost approximately $4.000 or $5.000 (prices are usually higher at night). Most taxi drivers know where Finca San Pedro is and it takes less than 5 minutes to get here.
Bus: you can catch the bus that goes to Aquitania from the bus terminal. It should take approx. 10 minutes and it costs $1.300 per person. Ask locals where to catch the bus and bare in mind to ask the bus driver to stop 500 meters after getting out of Sogamoso. You will see, on your left hand side, an archby a palm tree and a sign saying “Finca San Pedro”.
Walk: you can also walk to the Finca from the bus terminal. It should take approximately half an hour. Once you get out of the bus terminal turn right onto calle 11 and go left, then after the police station turn right, follow the river and walk 1.5 Km on that same road will. It will take you Finca San Pedro.

From Bogota

Bus: buses to Sogamoso leave from Portal del Norte (the northern station of Transmilenio), or from the main bus terminal located at the west of the city. The best option (except during busy Colombian public holidays) is to catch the bus from Portal del Norte, as you will save about an hour to get there (the time that takes from the main bus terminal to Portal del Norte). Once you arrive at Portal del Norte make sure you catch a “super direct” (super directo) bus to Sogamoso. This is IMPORTANT,as you will save one hour on the bus, otherwise you might find yourself in a bus stopping in all the cities between Bogotá and Sogamoso. The“super direct” bus from Portal del Norte should not take more than three hours and it should cost around $23.000 per person. The best bus companies are Autoboy or Los Libertadores. From Bucaramanga

Bus: there are direct buses from Bucaramanga to Sogamoso, but they don´t leave often. Try to find out the bus schedule in Bucaramanga through your hostel or by calling the following bus companies: Concorde or Copetran. You can also catch a bus (from the same bus companies) to Tunja and then once you arrive to Tunja catch another bus to Sogamoso. It should take around 7 to 8 hours total including the bus Tunja-Sogamoso takes about one hour if you decide to go via Tunja) and it should cost approximately $ 40.000 per person.

From San Gil

Bus: there are direct buses from San Gil to Sogamoso, but they don´t leave often. Try to find out the bus schedule in Bucaramanga through your hostel or by calling the following bus companies: Concorde or Copetran. You can also catch a bus (from the same bus companies) towards Bogota, to Tunja and then once you arrive to Tunja catch another bus to Sogamoso. It should take around 5 to 6 hours total including the bus Tunja-Sogamoso which takes about one hour) and it should cost approximately $ 30.000 per person.

From Villa de Leyva

Bus: this is fairly easy. First catch a bus to Tunja which should take around one hour. Once you arrive to Tunja catch another bus to Sogamoso, which will take another hour. It should cost approximately $15.000 per person.

From El Cocuy

Bus: catch a bus to Duitama and once you arrive to Duitama catch another bus to Sogamoso (which should takes 20 minutes). It should take 8 to 9 hours in total. And it should cost approximately $ 30.000 per person.

From Yopal

Bus: simple and straight, no need to change buses. Simply catch a bus to Sogamoso which should take around 4 hours and should cost around $ 25.000 per person,
