Tibasosa is a Pre-Colombian town that was originally inhabited by Indians. Nowadays the town is famous worldwide for the feijoa growing. Feijoa is a small green colored fruit with both a sweet and a sour taste. Around the well conserved main plaza you can find many shops that serve delicious feijoa fruit in juices, sweets, ice creams and even alcohol. Once a year in June a special feijoa festival takes place in Tibasosa.
