About Morca

Although a large part of the inhabitants of Morca live from coal mining production, most Colombians know Morca due to its religious importance. On the first Saturday of each month many religious people visit the village and celebrate various masses to honour Virgin Mary. It is a small village with a nice church and a shrine where it is said the Virgin Mary appeared.
